Reservation Reservation Reservation...

...also known as hesitating to book a hotel on Indian lands...

We got to go to the Brian Regan concert up in Logan last weekend with Jordan and Nikole! It was a lot of fun and, as always, Brian was HILARIOUS! We went up early to hang out with them (Jordan and Nikole, not Brian Regan). We went bowling at the Fun Park... apparently people usually do better on the first game and then lose their skills! At least that's how Jordan, Nikole, and Andrew were... I, on the other hand have to get warmed up! I got 83 on the first game (good thing I didn't go down from there!) and 164 on the second game... Quite the improvement! After bowling, the boys played a few games of pool and then we went out to dinner at Olive Garden. After the concert we went back to Jordan and Nikole's and played games and watched Big Bang Theory! So fun! Every time we go up there it reminds me how happy I am that we don't live up there in the FREEZING! No offense to all you Logan people who have become accustomed to the cold... I just don't think I could do it! Salt Lake is cold enough for me!

We also got to spend some time with my family from California last weekend! It was good times! They came to Utah to go snowmobiling and then the weather got too bad and they ended up not being able to go but we still had fun getting to see them! It was a pretty big party on Friday night at my grandma's house! Uncle Gary, Vicki, Katie, Brad, Tommy, Preston, Rick, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, John, Nicole, Andrew, Sara, Pat, Jim, Tasha, Brandon, Isaiah, and Lilly all partying at the house! It was fun to get to see everyone and get to spend some time with the family that we hardly ever see because of the 12 hour drive between us!

I have some great pictures from these events, but unfortunately my camera has died! I dropped it when we were walking out of my grandma's on Sunday night and now it doesn't work at all! Luckily, the SD card still works and I was able to go print some pictures yesterday for our scrapbook! I ended up spending about 6 hours on the floor scrapbooking! Apparently my attention span is a little larger than I thought! I didn't even realize I had been sitting there that long until I made a comment about my back hurting and Andrew telling that 6 hours will do that to you! I remember a day when I could sit on the floor all day with no problem! I guess I'm not as young as I used to be! Haha! Anyway, I hope I'm getting a camera for my birthday (20 days!!) so I hopefully won't have to miss too much exciting stuff in our life with no camera! And hopefully my new camera will connect to my computer so I can start putting pictures up again! My pictures are so much more entertaining than all these words I'm having to write lately!

Remember when...

2 posts in one day... Wow... aren't you lucky?!

Anyway, I think one of the best parts of being married is not having to go home at night! Getting to stay up as late (or go to bed as early) as you want to and not have to worry about having to drive home! Not having to wait anxiously as you drive home so you can send the other person a text to tell them how much you love them even though you saw them less than ten minutes ago! Getting to cuddle with each other as you fall asleep! Pretty awesome in my opinion!

Remember those days, though, that you got to say goodnight and then go home and stay up til 3am doing homework, or if you were lucky, getting to go to bed while they stayed up until 3am doing homework?! Too bad it doesn't work like that when I have no homework and Andrew has lots! I understand though! I've been there! And I know that he is doing all of this so that we can one day not have to live paycheck to paycheck like we are right now and I really do appreciate it! Still... Thank goodness I'm finished with school! And thank goodness Andrew usually only takes until 11:30 or 12 to finish his homework! But at least it's all worth it in the end when I don't have to say goodbye for the night and I get to fall asleep in his arms... Definitely worth it!

*Side note: Why is it that you can stay up ALL night and then drive home at ridiculous hours of the night when you are dating and then you get married and suddenly it's hard to stay up past 10:00?! Everyone always said that happened and I never believed them! Boy, was I wrong!

Love, Dance, and Play...

I got to go to the aquarium with the kids I watch last week! Brooke and Danika came with us and it was a great time! The kids loved the fish and had a great time running around! I've been learning how hard it is to chase 3 kids around large places like that! Good thing I had Brooke to help me make sure no one ran too far! Thanks for coming with us, Brooke and Danika! The kids loved it!

Thank goodness for Valentine's Day being on a Monday! Andrew and I got to spend the entire day together and it was fantastic! Yes, we had to spend a significant amount of time doing homework, and yes, we had errands we had to run, but it was a wonderful day and a great way to spend our first Valentine's Day (when we were married... we've had lots of Valentine's Days before this one...) Even though we had so much going on during the day, Andrew made sure to make it a special day for the two of us! We went out to Tepanyaki for dinner AND he took me to the store to get more Sweetarts Hearts because they are delicious and we had already finished our first bag, so we needed more! Andrew got me Big Bang Theory Season 3... YEEAH!! He also got me Zumba for the Wii! YAY! I've been having so much fun getting to dance around and getting to work out at home! Especially since it doesn't seem like a workout (because if it did, let's face it, I probably wouldn't do it!) It's a BLAST! So if anyone wants to come dance it up with me, let me know! **Don't worry... Andrew wasn't hinting at anything! I told him to get it for me! :) I got Andrew a pass to go to the Junction up in Ogden... He gets to go do the Flowrider (indoor surfing), iFly (indoor sky diving), and iRock (rock climbing). FUN! I'm excited for him to get to go do all of those things! Maybe he'll get to have some of the guys go with him... :)

I love getting to have so many adventures with Andrew in our first year of marriage and can't wait for all of the fun things that we get to look forward to in our future! This weekend we get to hang out with some of my family that is out here from California and then we get to go up to the Brian Regan concert in Logan! Hopefully we will make it through the next two VERY long days so that we can get to our fun weekend!

Have a :) rest of the week!

SUPER Fun Days...

We've had a super fun week full of sports! On Thursday, Nick and Kandi surprised us and called to see if we wanted to go to the Jazz game with them... 11th row! Um.... YES!! So, we got to go to the Jazz vs Rockets game. It was a lot of fun and we had a blast watching the game and people watching all the fans!
We had so much fun! Thanks for the tickets Nick and Kandi!

We also got to watch the SUPER Bowl on Sunday with some super fun people! Almost the whole family was there and we got to see Rod, Marja, and Alex! Fun times!
Every year we see who can guess closest to the score and this year the score sheet was a t-shirt and the winner got to take the t-shirt home!
And the winner is............

Dad won the trophy and gets to keep it until next year!
Maybe next year we'll win and get to take it home! It would look great in our family room!

And here's a picture of the candy cake that Hilary made for the February birthdays (the same one that I was talking about in the last post for Rylee's birthday). Happy birthday Tai, Nikole, Hayden, Isaak, and Rodney!! We love you guys!
My camera is still having issues and I haven't been able to load pictures so I am having to steal pictures of things that we've been doing from other people's blogs... Thanks Kandi and Marja! :)
