Life is Great!

It has been a while since I posted- again- but the cord to put pictures on my computer has been broken and I feel like our posts are a lot more exciting when we have pictures!! Let's be honest, some things just can't be explained with words! Luckily, my amazing husband knows how to fix things and he got it to work today! Thanks honey!
So, here is some of what we have been up to!
We washed our washing machine... pretty gross to start out with! I guess that is what happens over the years, kind of disgusting when you are renting and the gunk doesn't come from you though! It looks much better now!

I got Andrew a dart board for Christmas. It is pretty fun to play and Andrew is getting pretty good! Look at the aim he had with these two darts! Wow!!

The week before Christmas we got to go to Disneyland! SO MUCH FUN! It was so nice to be able to get away with just the two of us and not to have to worry about anything! We had a blast! And like I said, some things are just explained better with pictures!
In line for Midway Mania... Love that ride! Andrew kicked my booty!

Tower of Terror. We are so cool!

I have been to Disneyland a LOT and this is the first time I had ever seen the castle decked out for Christmas! So pretty!
In March our niece Lana turned 8! We have a fun tradition with the kids and take each of them out for a special date when they turn 8! We even let them decide what they want to do! Lana wanted to go bowling and get ice cream so we headed out to Boondocks and went bowling and played arcade games and then drove around town looking for an ice cream place that was open! We ended up at Cold Stone and it was delicious! Lana was such a cute date and we had a BLAST taking her out! She really wanted to stay out until midnight and it was so cute because every 20 minutes or so she would ask if it was close to midnight yet. It was so cute! Thanks for the date, Lana! We love you! Big thanks to Hil and Bill for letting us steal their cute girl for a night!

In May, one of our other nieces, McKenzie, turned 8 and we got to take her out too! For her date she wanted to go to Classic Fun Center! Unfortunately we got there pretty late and only had time for a little skating so after that we went to get frozen yogurt (YUM!) and then went to Boondocks and played laser tag! It was McKenzie's first time playing and she was SO excited and had a lot of fun! We kept her out way too late but it was a ton of fun! Thanks for the date, Kenz! We love you! Thanks Tai and Mike for letting us take her out! We loved it!

Also in May, one of my best friends ever graduated with her Master's Degree from the University of Utah! Congrats Annie! We are so excited for you!
For our 2nd anniversary on the 7th, I surprised Andrew with tickets to one of the Jazz vs Spurs playoff games! I was pretty impressed by the excitement in the arena and must say that the game did help me with my love of the Jazz... a little! Too bad we lost! Oh well! :)

This is how excited Andrew was!

In May we went on another trip to........ Disneyland! Apparently we love that place! It is the happiest place on earth, so it was great to be able to go twice in such a short amount of time! This time we got to go with Andrew's sister, Tai, and her family and Andrew's parents! Get the 10 of us together and you get a lot of crazy fun! (and a lot of crazy bird calls being yelled across the park! We were part of the entertainment for everyone else there! Man, I love those guys!) We got to stay in the Grand Californian thanks to Tai and Mike! That place is amazing! If you ever get the chance to stay there... Do it! It totally reminded me of the castle in Beauty and the Beast! a.m.a.z.i.n.g! 7 days in Cali with perfect weather and 6 days in Disneyland. Doesn't get much better than that! Andrew and I are definitely living the life right now! There were so many great moments on this trip! Some of my favorites included standing in line for Midway Mania singing "If you're happy and you know it..." and a bunch of people in the line singing along with us (HAHA!), getting to ride a ton of rides with the kids, getting to look at all of the funny pictures from the rides, getting told by an Aussie that "back home we shoot things that sound like that" while walking through the park making our bird calls to find each other, running into Emily and Cameron randomly at the park and finding out Em is pregnant (Congrats!!!), and breaking down half of the rides at the park! :) We also had a fun experience when we were watching Turtle Talk with Crush! He picked Isaak out of the crowd of kids to talk to and this was part of the conversation:
Crush: ...where do you come from?
Isaak: Arizona! (um... what?! Pretty sure we are all from Utah! All of the adults in our group started laughing hysterically and we got a lot of weird looks because people weren't really sure what was so funny about us being from Arizona!)
After we were finished watching the show someone asked Isaak where he was from again and he said, "Utah. I was tricking him!" hahaha! Oh kids! They are so funny sometimes!
Anyway, we had a great trip! Thanks Tai and Mike for inviting us! We had so much fun and will remember that trip forever! Y'all are amazing! :)
Waiting in line for Soarin' over California... it broke down shortly after this picture was taken!
