Had a "Farewell to Theta" get together and got to see girls I haven't seen in a long time!!

Went to San Diego and went parasailing!

These guys were there, too!

We went to the San Diego Temple... So pretty!!
We hung out at the beach!

We went to the Sugarland concert (1 week after the Indiana State fair incident!) This was probably the best concert I've ever been to! They are amazing! Sara Bareilles was their opening act and she was pretty incredible too!

Sara and Jeremy came, too! They have been at all the concerts we went to this summer! It has been way fun to have excuses to see them!
Annie was there, too! Pretty much LOVE hanging out with this girl! We are so glad she got to come to the awesome concert with us and some of her camp friends from this summer!

{AMAZING!!!!}

We did this cool puzzle! I've never seen a puzzle stick together so well! It was pretty fun!
UTAH FOOTBALL!!!!! The season started Sept 1 and it was AWESOME! Our team needs to step it up for the future games but at least we won and it was so fun to get to go watch the Utes again!

{We were really excited about it!}
Andrew and I sat outside and watched some way cool lightning storms a few weeks ago! It was way cool! We couldn't get very good pictures but this picture was taken at like 10:00 pm... the lightning was lighting up the whole sky!
We also moved!! But I don't have any pictures of that! Our new place is amazing! We are in a basement apartment and the people upstairs are great! We've been having a lot of fun here so far and can't wait to be here for the year!

And that is what we have been up to! It's been an awesome summer! Now Andrew is back in school (he only had a 2 week break after summer school so not much has changed there!) and I am back at work! Not much is new with us! Just loving life and having a great time getting through school! One day Andrew will be finished (at least that's what I keep telling myself!)

Cancer FREE!!!

It's true... My dad is OFFICIALLY cancer free! :) He was diagnosed with Squamous-cell carcinoma of the tongue (or something really close to that) in March of this year and it has been a LONG 5 months. After going through chemo and radiation treatments for a few months and having to wait to find out if the treatments worked, he finally had his big appointment today and the scans all show that the cancer is GONE! Honestly, one of the best days ever!

I am so grateful to all of you who have had my family in your thoughts and prayers over the past few months. His name has been placed on temple prayer rolls, he has been prayed for by so many people, and got a priesthood blessing at the beginning of all of the chaos that has been the last few months. Our prayers have been answered and it is the most incredible feeling. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for helping my dad get through this horrible disease! I know that my dad could not have done this on his own and has had the Lord with him through every step of his recovery. I am grateful for the power of priesthood blessings and for the opportunity that Andrew had to give one to my dad, I believe with all of my heart that it helped him get through this. My family has been truly blessed and we are grateful to all of you who have prayed for us!

Although my dad has reached a happy point in his treatments, there are still so many out there that I know with cancer. We continue to pray for their health and I can only hope that one day someone will find the cure for this disease!

My head is all over the place right now so I hope this post made at least a little sense! I promise I will post about the many things that we have been doing since our last post once life slows down for a second! :)

I hope you all have a fantastic day.... We sure are!! :)

Congrats to Sara & Jeremy!

Sara and Jeremy were sealed in the Bountiful temple on May 11, 2011! It was an incredible ceremony! These two are so cute together and I am way excited for them! Sara looked amazing, as always! I didn't get very many pictures but here are the few I did get...
Their first dance...
We were in charge of getting them out of line and over to the cake cutting. Andrew took his duty seriously and was the bouncer for the line for a few minutes!
Aaron and Josh eating the yummy food!
4,800 Post-it notes later... Holy smokes!
Way to go Post-it crew! The car looked sweet! (Sara's brothers and cousins...)
Congratulations you guys! We are way excited for you to start your adventures together! The wedding was perfect! :)

And on a completely separate note... This meal is the most delicious thing on the planet! Well one of the most delicious things! It's a little pricey but we were in the mood. So we celebrated with the Pesto-Presto Chicken (a Rachael Ray recipe) and some Cream Soda! It was delicious! Thanks, Annie, for coming and partying with us that night! Good times!
And, one of my other good friends, Erin Gibson, got married today! Congratulations Erin & Jim! You guys are awesome! The reception was beautiful and we can't wait to get to be your neighbors for the next little while! Unfortunately, I'm a bozo and left my camera on last time I used it so it was dead when we pulled it out to take pictures, but just know she looked amazing! Hope you guys have a great first week!

Well.... I did it! I got all updated in only 3 blog posts! Make sure you check them all out! We've been up to some super fun stuff! And I had to make sure I updated before this super busy-full of awesomeness-weekend happened that I'm sure will require a few blog posts of its own! I hope you all have a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend in a few days! I, personally, can't wait!
