Well, I've officially been trying to blog for over a week now and have not been able to get the pictures from my camera, or Andrew's camera to load onto my computer, and since our posts are usually like ALL pictures, this should be a super interesting post!
We've been up to lots since we last blogged...
We spent a bunch of time with family over Christmas break and loved every minute of it! Being our first Christmas being married, we had a lot of fun decorating and spoiling each other with presents! It was another great adventure in our first year of marriage!
For New Year's Eve we went out to dinner with Sara and Jeremy, and some of their friends and then went to a party! There was a lot of Just Dance-ing going on and some other games that made us feel like we were back in high school, but the dancing was awesome! We loved being able to show off our amazing dancing skills! Good thing we've had so much practice dancing with all the nieces and nephews! I've got some great pictures of the dancing fun so maybe one day you will get to enjoy the memory as much as I do! Until then you will just have to imagine Andrew and Jeremy up dancing to Katy Perry's Hot'N'Cold- chick version! :)
We were also able to go to a Theta gathering at Inn-N-Out with some of the Theta girls from back in the day when I first joined Theta. It was a lot of fun! We were able to see Emma's beautiful baby boy, Megan- who just got home from her mission to Tulsa, Oklahoma a few weeks ago, Sariah and her family, and Erin and her, then, soon to be fiance (they've gotten engaged since then). Somehow I missed the memo that they were dating and thought that they were still just friends! Apparently if I had been paying attention I would have been able to tell that they were dating, but I got to hold Emma's baby and was off in my own little baby world most of the time! Anyway, her ring is gorgeous and she couldn't look happier! I am so excited for her and can't wait for her wedding in June!
We were also able to go to Hil and Bill's house for Rylee's 10th birthday! It was a blast! We got to see lots of family and play Minute to Win it games with them. [Insert picture: Just imagine a stretchy headband with a slinky attached and Andrew trying to fling the slinky and get it to stayt on his head, attempting to stack apples, stacking dice on a tongue depresser while holding it in your mouth, shooting stacks of soda cans with rubber bands, and bouncing around with a tissue box full of ping pong balls tied to your waist trying to get the ping pong balls to fall out!] We also got to have a delicious dinner and an awesome "Candy Cake" (white cake, chocolate frosting, surrounded by KitKat bars, and topped with peanut butter M&Ms! Delicious!!) There was also some great pyramid making by the kids and some pretty good pictures of Andrew laying on the ground picking people up!
Other than that we've pretty much just been up to the same old school and work juggling that we've been doing since we got married, only now I'm back in school (only one class, thank goodness). I've got some great stories from work including a two year old girl falling asleep at the table while eating lunch and a 7 month old girl who has been getting random teeth in the past few weeks. Andrew's school and work schedules are crazy and are keeping him busy! We're still loving our time together and being able to come home to each other and can't wait for this semester to be over so we can catch a breath for a minute and get to spend maybe a little more time together!
Hope you enjoyed the update on our life and one day when my camera/computer connection stops being ridiculous I will post some pictures of all these adventures up here!
