Winner Winner!!!

So, I won tickets to the Dierks Bentley concert on the radio on Thursday! It was AWESOME! Just another concert to add to our fun summer! Can't wait!! And we are qualified for a trip to LA... Cross your fingers for us! That would be so much fun to win!

On another note... Andrew and I had a fun little project this morning! I've decided recently that I was really sick of our bathroom being all white and the plain white shower curtain was making it even worse... SO, we changed it up today and spray painted the shower curtain! It actually turned out pretty cute!
Yes, we wore gloves when we did this... mostly because we tried some stuff out before we actually started the shower curtain and I ended up having a REALLY hard time getting the paint off my hands! Good thing we had these gloves laying around the house!
The bathroom looks so much better now!
And... the aftermath of trying to get the paint off my hands... OUCH!
All in all, I think it worked out pretty well! We had a fun morning and our shower curtain looks awesome!

Easter's coming....

... so I made decorations....
It was lots of fun... I can't wait for the next holiday when I can start making stuff for that too! :)

We've also been doing some other fun stuff lately...
We went to this cute girls 2 year old birthday party! She is adorable! We had a blast getting to see Kandi and Nick and spend some time with them at the party!
Kandi made these awesome Krabby Patty cupcakes! So cute and so yummy!!
I also had some fun times at Sara's bachelorette party! This was probably the best part... Sara getting super embarrassed by the present Brooke got her... it was pretty awful! Way to go, Brooke!
It's been a pretty fun few weeks! We've gotten to spend lots of time with friends and we've also been able to spend some time at home since family things have calmed down a little. Andrew is working hard to get through finals and I'm just hoping I don't totally bomb the one final that I do have! I also got a new job which will be awesome! The little girl is really cute and even though it's not exactly what we were hoping for, I think it will be good for us! I can't wait for school to get over and our new summer adventures to start! This summer is going to be a GREAT one! :)

Why are my feet wet?

The big question for the day on Monday! We were watching a movie and suddenly Andrew asked me if I spilled something. When I said no, he was like "Why are my feet wet?" We kind of just brushed the thought aside and assumed we had spilled something. Then a few minutes later when the wetness of our carpet was spreading, we decided we hadn't just spilled something. And so, this is what we are dealing with right now...

I know it is kind of hard to see in the pictures but this wall is right next to the utility room in our apartment complex and the water heater on the other side of the wall leaked... A LOT and came into our apartment! So fun... Not! So, we called our landlord at 11:00 at night and had him come over to take a look. He ripped up our carpet to see how bad it was. The water had spread pretty far... And there were bubbles in the wall (apparently the water heater was leaking really fast, or this had been going on for a while!) He then changed a little spout thing on the water heater, hoping that would stop the leaking, and left. When he came back in the morning the water had spread a lot more and our carpet was now SOPPING! So now we have a giant, NOISY blower thing drying our carpet out and he is coming back to put new padding down and fix the carpet and stuff! We're having a lot of fun being cooped up in our room so we can hear each other talk and having all our furniture shoved to one side of the room... Looks good, right? Maybe we'll keep it this way even when the carpet is fixed! :)

On the bright side, it could have been a lot worse! Our stuff could have gotten ruined before we noticed it! The only thing that got hurt was one of Andrew's textbooks that has some water damage now... Could have been worse!

AND the weather has been pretty nice the last few days! We even went out and got some tennis playing in! I love when we get to go out and play! That always makes things better!

Just thought you might want to see the fun things going on with us! Hopefully we will be moved by the end of the month!! Then no more dealing with bugs/leaking water heaters! :)

April Showers Bring May Flowers....

I cannot believe that it is already April! And can you believe this weather?! Snow... spring... snow.... spring... freezing!... When will it be normal?! Haha! As soon as we move out of Utah, I'm sure! Hopefully all of this moisture will bring some May flowers in the future!
And, can you believe Andrew and I have almost been married for 11 months!?! My, how time flies!!
Anyway... As I was looking at our blog and seeing when I was last able to post pictures before my camera stopped working... Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it has been that long since I've had pictures to put up! And, because of that... I have A LOT of pictures for you to see! They are kind of out of order because they were taken on different cameras but you'll get the basic idea!

Here is one of the few pictures we have from Christmas... good times with the "kids" of the family! :) (... watch how much Nicole's hair changes throughout the few months in pictures in this post...)
For New Year's, we went out to dinner at Sonora Grill and then partying with Sara and Jeremy (her, now, fiance), and Karson and Ambree!
We had fun doing some Just Dance at the party! I loved getting to watch Andrew and Jeremy dance to the "manly" songs that they danced to!
We also went to the Auto Expo with Sara and Jeremy! It was pretty fun to get to walk around and see all the cool cars. According to Jeremy, it was weird that we had never been to the Auto Expo before, but it's ok, because now we have been and our lives are complete! :) This was a pretty cool car that Andrew freaked out about a little... No idea what kind of car it is, but it looks cool!
In January, Rylee turned 10! Holy Smokes!! We went over to the Eccleston's for some cake, ice cream, and Minute to Win It with the family! Here are the kids making a pyramid!
One of the Minute to Win It games was to get this slinky to stack up on your forehead without using your hands! Pretty funny to watch! Andrew actually got it to work once, too bad it didn't win us $1,000,000!
Kate and Isaak even got into the Minute to Win It games by sorting M&Ms...
Rylee got into it by stacking dice on a tongue depressor... way to go, Ry!
Here is the big 10 year old blowing out the candles on her candy cake! I've talked about it before... but it was an awesome cake! Yellow cake, chocolate frosting, peanut butter M&Ms, and Kit Kats.... YUM!
We also got to go to Brian Regan with Jordan and Nikole! I couldn't get any pictures of him because he was too little (even when I zoomed in all the way with my camera) but we all got a good laugh out of it! It was way fun to see him again, and we had a great time hanging out with Jordan and Nikole up in Logan!
One weekend a bunch of my family from California came out to go snowmobiling for a few days! Unfortunately, the weather didn't hold out for them. There were a few snow storms that weekend and they ended up not being able to go, but it was still fun to be able to see them!

Here is my Uncle Gary and Dad hanging out!
The ladies... Vicki, Aunt Katie, and Mom (like mother like daughter...)
An actual picture of the 3 of them! Mom and Katie grew up together and were super close! It was fun to be able to see them together and listen to stories of all the things they did when they were younger!
Andrew, Dad, and Nicole... Believe it or not, this was the best picture I got of the three of them! Nicole does not know how to take a normal picture! (It must be a Goble thing....)
Like I said, like mother like daughter! (Don't worry... it's just Sparkling Cider!)
Andrew was so cute with Lilly! She was telling him what he needed to draw to make a snowman and then he would draw it... SO cute!
Here is Uncle Gary and Grandma, obviously having a great time together!
Part of the family...
Isaiah heading out the door like a big kid! Apparently he has had enough fun...
Aunt Katie and Uncle Gary "fighting" because Uncle Gary won't stop singing the "Forget You" song....
Wow... yeah, these pictures are totally out of order! Anyway... Andrew got me a new camera for my birthday! I got to go have fun taking pictures with it.... Here is my cute puppy, Kiki! Love! It's crazy how awesome the pictures that the new camera takes are!
We had a "March Birthday Party" for Nicole, Pat, and me at Pat's house... During one of the games of pool Grandma was showing off her trick moves....
Nicole had a lot of fun being a jungle gym for Lilly! She is going to be a great Aunt one day! I can't wait to get to watch her play with my kids!
Apparently Brandon didn't want any pictures taken as himself, so he disguised himself as Susan Surrandon (?) with a milk mustache... Sneaky!
While Nicole was busy being a jungle gym for Lilly, Andrew was being one for Isaiah!
Also in March was Keldrie Smith's birthday! (She shares my birthday with me!) We had a lot of fun hanging out with her at her birthday party! Apparently she is really excited about the party!
Matt and Keldrie....
Keldrie's cousin... He is SO cute! :)
She's so big! Blowing out her own birthday candles and everything!
She was having a little trouble eating the cake with her fork.....
.... so she solved that problem by using her hands to eat the cake. Much easier!
She was so excited about the balloons... it was cute!
Keldrie got to open up lots of presents at her party.... She got lots of books... She didn't seem too excited about them at the time, but I'm sure she will learn to love them!
Keldrie and her Grandma Keller looking at each other through the balloon! Surprisingly, people look green if you look at them through a green balloon!
We also got to have a delicious seafood pasta dinner night at my grandparents for another birthday celebration! One of the ladies that my mom works with made us a yummy banana cinnamon (or something like that) cake! So yummy... and so cute!
The birthday girls...
So, so out of order!!

Here is me and my SUPER cute niece, Danika! I love this little girl!!
How cute is she?!
Andrew got busy with some dominoes while we were at his parents! It was pretty cool! (And Danika loved it!)
We also went to a Real Salt Lake game with Jordan and Nikole that was super fun! We were supposed to get free hot chocolate... but that didn't work out. We got a free beanie though and got to sit in pretty awesome seats thanks to Nikole's parents not using their season tickets! Thanks for going with us Jordan and Nikole! It was lots of fun!!
After the game, Nick Rimando walked by our seats and Andrew asked for his gloves!? And guess what... He gave them to him! SWEET!! Andrew was pretty stoked! They even had Nick's kids names written on them... cute! And a few games later, Jordan brought the gloves to another game and got Nick to sign them... He's a pretty neat guy! :)
The other day we were at Hilary's house and I saw a cute ribbon ball thing that she had made, so we decided that we were going to make some ribbon wreaths together! Sad day when Hayden got sick and we didn't end up getting to do it together! But I finished my ribbon wreath today and it looks pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself!!
AND in March.... Saydee got married! So fun!! Her wedding was beautiful! I'm glad we got to go see her at her wedding because it had been forever since I had seen her! And I got to see some old friends that I hadn't seen in a while at her wedding! Fun times! Here she is throwing the bouquet!!
Annie caught the bouquet! She better hurry up and find herself a man! :)
At my Scentsy kickoff party, Brooke and Brooke brought their kids and they played together like they were old friends! It was lots of fun gettting to watch them run around like crazy at the house!
Andrew even kept the two of them entertained for a while with Disney/Pixar shorts on his computer. They loved him!
And here is Danika on a random day that we were over there.... wearing my boots! I think they're a little too big! What do you think?!
The other day we went to Hobby Lobby while the men were at the Priesthood session of conference to see if I could find any ribbon for my wreath. It was a pretty hilarious experience! Down one of the aisles Danika was unloading boxes of rubber duckies into a bucket! We sat and laughed while she did this for a long time.... it's funny what can keep kids entertained!
The girls with their summer hats on....
Our "crowns".... Fun Fun!!
And last but not least... the other day at work I walked into the kitchen to get something really quick while I was feeding her and this is what I came back to! That'll teach me to leave the food on the high chair! I totally didn't think she could reach! Haha! She loved playing in it though, so I guess it's ok! :)
Other than that, we've just been up to lots of work and lots of school! I have been working on finding a new job since this is the last week of one of my jobs! :( I'm definitely going to miss it! I have LOVED getting to work with those three kids! (At the aquarium with Danika...) They have been a hoot to get to know... hopefully I will still get to spend some time with them... We'll have to do play dates or something! Thanks for letting me become part of your family guys! I'm really going to miss all of you!!

We are still looking for an apartment too! So if anyone hears of any openings in a good apartment in Salt Lake, let us know!

Well, thanks for putting up with all of the craziness of our lives for the past little while! I'm so glad I can actually post pictures again! Have a great day!! And enjoy this crazy weather while it lasts..... :)
